Biography
My love for art and creating it started at an early age, I spent most of my time making sketches of cartoon characters and even created mine. I studied visual art, finding my path was easy because of my love for creating my own figures and bringing them to life in sculpture.
The sculptures I create defines who I am as an African, Ghanaian and the world around me, my works are made from good quality wood (Masonia and Shadua wood).
I am committed to contemporary forms and figures, and inspired by the rich
Ghanaian culture. I use authentic materials like the fig, jute, sea shells and sand, woven bamboo, leather and velvet materials for my backgrounds.
My works helps you see beyond the ordinary, it is an appreciation of life and nature in relief and abstraction.
